At Home Therapies for Autism with Deann Hampton
Friday Jul 21, 2023
Friday Jul 21, 2023
My first autism episode was by far one of the two most requested topics to date, and it was well received by all of you in the lovely Just Dumb Enough audience. But in talking to listeners, many people still wanted more. Something even more personal. So now I'm revisiting the topic with an all new expert and a different angle.
My guest today is Deann Hampton. Deann has been mother to two twins for 35 years now. Even though they are grown now; Deann had a rocky start to say the least, when they received multiple diagnosis at a very young age. The road was a hard one to travel, not knowing that autism was at the heart of the issues, and Deann got a lot of advice that did more harm than good. ( Www.DeannHampton.Com )She covers some of the differences in diagnosis of autism and it's spectrum of disorders, as well as a rise of the neurodiverse population, and what parents may find to be helpful in their day to day. She also references some products, none of which are sponsors of this show, and also are not things I can recommend or advise on with any confidence. But that's why I have experts on the show and always recommend you leave here and research the things that interest you on your own. This is a great standalone episode, but I also recommend checking out the first time we covered it on this show with Tobi Rates. That first interview covers a lot of the basic terms and conditions that come up in todays conversation that may be unfamiliar to you if you don't already have some level of knowledge on the condition.
Let's learn some tips and tricks!
I hope this helps those of you touched by autism in some meaningful way. As always you can reach out to me or my guests to learn more.
Now past the midpoint, here's our July rankings:1. The United States, with Texas, Oregon, and Virginia (in that order) as the top states.2. Canada, with Ontario dominating.3. The United Kingdom, with England up at the top.4. Egypt. Holding onto it's place tightly.5. Australia, with a tie between New South Wales and Victoria.
That's it for this week! Have a great weekend and I'll see you all back here for the next episode!Until the next episode, please do all the things to help the show: rate, review, like, and subscribe. Humanity First with Sara Ting
Wednesday Jul 12, 2023
Wednesday Jul 12, 2023
How do you define yourself? Do you start with: Your gender? Your race? Your religion? Your politics? My expert today would tell you any of those are the wrong things to start with.
My guest today is Sara Ting. Sara is the Author of the Sun Poem as well as President and Founder of World Unity Inc. She specializes in promoting diversity, equality, and inclusion (DEI) by raising awareness of yourself first. And it accomplishes some of this by using the increasingly rare skill of critical thinking. Also, We had a bit of a connection issue and one of our computers throwing alerts early on. I've cut as many as I could and lessened the audio levels of the rest. Pro-tip to would be podcasters out there: make sure your guests are either wearing headphones, or have silenced their alerts before starting your interview. See? I'm learning just like all of you after all!( Www.WorldUnityInc.Org Www.AsTheSun.Net )
Let's put our humanity first!
I think humanity first is an interesting perspective, but do any of you see any flaws in it?
The updated July rankings:1. The United States, with Texas, Virginia, and Oregon now as the top states.2. The United Kingdom, with England up at the top.3. Canada, with Ontario dominating.4. Egypt. Wow. welcome to the top 5 for I think the first time ever!5. Australia, with now led by New South Wales.
That's it for this week! Have a great weekend and I'll see you all back here for the next episode!Until the next episode, please do all the things to help the show: rate, review, like, and subscribe. LinkedIn with Joe Apfelbaum
Wednesday Jul 05, 2023
Wednesday Jul 05, 2023
Coming back from the American holiday, I figured we'd do a short episode on a well recognized, non-toxic, social media.
My guest today is Joe Apfelbaum. Joe is CEO of Ajax Union, a marketing company that has 15 years of experience helping people in all fields build effective strategies. One of the most important of these is the proper use of the social media site: LinkedIn.
It's something I was aware existed before the interview, but never understood the purpose entirely. Luckily Joe delivers an excellent lesson, so I'll get us right into the interview!
( Www.BusinessNetowrkingWorkshop.Com Www.JoeLinkedIn.Com Www.NewAICourse.Com Www.EvyAI.Com )
Let's socialize our way to better business!
Are any of you listeners business owners or entrepreneur hopefuls? If so, write in or leave a comment and tell me what you do!
It's a new month, so we've got a new ranking:1. The United States, with Texas, Florida, and Oregon now as the top states.2. The United Kingdom, with England taking a heavy lead.3. Australia, with South Australia at the top for the first time in a long time.4. Canada, with Ontario way out in front.5. India. Welcome back to the top 5!
That's it for this week! Have a great weekend and I'll see you all back here for the next episode!Until then, please do all the things to help the show: rate, review, like, and subscribe. DumbEnoughPodcast@Gmail.Com or on social media if you want to reach me personally. Most importantly, Stay Dumb!

Past Lives with Christa Okon
Friday Jun 30, 2023
Friday Jun 30, 2023
It seems to be a trend with this show's audience that most conventional topics never perform as well as the unusual. So to feed into your insatiable lust for the abnormal, I've got an expert today who's speaking about our past lives and how they impact the people we are today.
My guest today is Christa Okon. During some routine oral care, Christa found herself having visions of Adolf Hitler and Nazi Germany. She was understandably confused, frightened, and off put by these intrusive memories. Over time she came to understand that we as humans have an ability to tap into some highlights from the past lives we've lived. You'll soon hear her description of how these seemingly unconnected people have far reaching impact on you, even after their deaths. For long time listeners, this isn't the first time reincarnation has come up. But it is most certainly the first to claim that we can access traits and memories from the other people we could have been. It's quite a thought process to engage in, and I highly recommend you come to it with an open mind.I'm not sure if this show needs to just lean into the more bizarre aspects of life as a human or not. What do you think? Do you listen for the career, life, and hobby advice? Or are you one of those who only shows up when the title says something unexpected and odd? Let me know by leaving a comment wherever you're listening, by sending an email to DumbEnoughPodcast@Gmail.com , or by reaching out on your preferred social media platform.
Let's dig into the lives we had before our birth?
So that was the episode. What do you think? Have we all experience past lives and diverse experiences? Or do we just get one trip on this big planet? I always want to believe in the fantastical, no matter the evidence. It won't change the way I live my life, but what's the harm in just humoring the possibility?
We've reached the end of June, a bit slower than the months before it, with the following ranking:1. The United States, with Texas, Kentucky, and California as top states. Not sure what happened to New York and Oregon at the end there.2. The United Kingdom, still led by Scotland!3. Australia, with Victoria just barely staying ahead of New South Wales.4. Canada, with Ontario way at the top.5. Sweden, with Stockholm crushing the others.
That's it for this week! Have a great weekend and I'll see you all back here for the next episode about the same time that America blows up the sky! It's Independence day next week, for those unaware, and the US just loves launching colored dynamite into the sky to celebrate.Until the next episode, please do all the things to help the show: rate, review, like, and subscribe. The Conscious Unconscious with Stuart Lichtman
Thursday Jun 22, 2023
Thursday Jun 22, 2023
My last episode featured my youngest guest ever, and now we're rolling into this interview with a man who describes himself as "an old timer", I think being the oldest guest I've had on the show. (Sorry I'm sick during the Intro/Outro)
My guest today is Stuart Lichtman. For 50 years now, Stuart has been teaching people to make their unconscious work for them. New research with functional MRIs has shown that everything we do originates as an unconscious thought about ten seconds before we do it.
But doesn't consciously thinking about the unconscious make it conscious? Don't think about it too hard just yet. Stuart is going to spell it out for those of us not quite gifted enough to grasp the concept right away. And once you've learned the basics, you can use it to make everything from working out, to learning a language, to losing weight, to finding a parking spot easier!
Admittedly Stuart has a bit slower cadence than many of my previous guests, but he's got quite the wisdom to deliver, and a resume to back it up. From Margret Thatcher to Owners of NFL teams like the Philadelphia Eagles, Stuart has worked with some of the biggest names to ever grace industries and has led them to remarkable successes.
Let's put our big brains to some use!
This became one of the show's shorter episodes, because of the editing I had to do. Hopefully I was able to clean up and condense the audio in such a way that you all still learned and didn't tune out. But if you're one of those people that enjoys the metaphysical episodes, and you know who you are, you're really going to enjoy the episode next week.
On the flip side, there's no meaningful changes in the ranking, so I'm going to skip the update and just wish you all a fun and/or relaxing weekend.
I'll see you all back here for the next episode! Until then, please do all the good stuff for the show: rate, review, like, and subscribe. DumbEnoughPodcast@Gmail.Com or social media if you want to reach me.Most importantly, Stay Dumb!

Young Teen Author with Shanti Hershenson
Wednesday Jun 14, 2023
Wednesday Jun 14, 2023
I've always loved writing; I think it's just such a fantastic outlet for creativity. But back in high school, I would have never dreamed of actually writing and completing a novel. Well my expert today published her first novel when she was still in middle school!
My guest today is Shanti Hershenson. As I said, Shanti wrote her first novel back in middle school, at the age of 12. And this wasn't just a loose collection of thoughts, it was almost 900 pages long and had to be broken into a series before she could have it's first edition printed.
As of now this young Hemmingway is only 15 years old and has 13 published works with more in editing, and still more being writen. It's a feat that most adults on the planet would be hard pressed to accomplish, even if you removed the need to edit and publish! Also, on a fun note, this is my youngest guest ever! I'm not sure I ever thought this would happen, but it really illustrates just how broad or niche this show can go. ( Www.ShantiHershenson.Com )
This is as good a time as any to address that as of now I'm starting to compile all the lessons and tips, from my over 140 guests so far, into book format. I'll continue to add to the pages until I think it's a sufficient length, and then I'll throw it out there for people to enjoy.
What do you think? Would you want a copy? What have been your favorite things you've learned? I'm personally looking forward to the new challenge I likely would have never taken on without incredible guests like this one!
Let's find out how we can write multiple books per year!
I hope this interview has inspired at least a few of you to give writing a shot. It doesn't have to be 1,000 words a day, it could be 200 words a day and you'd still finish a novel before the end of the year!
In other news, it's the middle of June and here's the ranking update:1. The United States, with Texas, Arizona, and New York as top states.2. The United Kingdom, actually led by Scotland!3. Australia, with Victoria taking the lead.4. Canada, with Ontario barely at the top.5. Hungary, tied with Norway!
That's it for today! Have a great week and I'll see you all back here for the next episode!Until then, please do all the good stuff for the show: rate, review, like, and subscribe. DumbEnoughPodcast@Gmail.Com or social media if you want to reach me.Most importantly, Stay Dumb!

Near Death Experiences with Chris Jankulovski
Monday Jun 05, 2023
Monday Jun 05, 2023
Talking about a near death situation can be a little vague. Does it mean you're totally uninjured, but could have died? Or do you have to have flat lined for it to count? The threshold seems unknown, so I invited an expert to explain his many near death experiences.
My guest today is Chris Jankulovski. Chris has had 8 near death experiences. Let that sink in for a moment. Now that you've processed it, he was also told he had less than a decade to live over 30 years ago. Rough stuff, right? This has just become the norm for Chris, as even now doctors tell him he has only a couple years left at best. He's here today to discuss his many brushes with death, the lessons he's learned along the way, and why things are never as dark as they might seem. ( www.ChrisJankulovski.Com | www.NearDeathLessons.Com )
A short show note before we get started:If you haven't noticed, I've recently dropped back to one episode a week. I actually prefer the other release schedule, despite how busy it keeps me, but it has been very difficult to get new and interesting guests in lately. I'm also diverting some energy over to some of the numerous other projects I'm involved with in the mean time, so hopefully I can start announcing more things soon! Until then, if you listen to this show and think you have an interesting job or hobby, hit me up at DumbEnoughPodcast@Gmail.Com and let's see about getting you onto the show! I always enjoy doing interviews with listeners no matter the topic, and they usually end up being some of my favorites!
For now, Let's not die!
Well if that doesn't motivate you in some way, I'm not sure what will. Chris was a great guest, and genuinely a cool guy to talk with, so I hope you all enjoyed it as well.
It's the first days of June and things are already all mixed up in the rankings:1. The United States, with Texas, Arizona, and Wyoming as top states.2. Hungary. Welcome to not only the top 5, but the top 2!3. Canada... tied with The United Kingdom!5. Australia, led by New South Wales but almost beaten by Norway!
That's it for today! Have a great week and I'll see you all back here for the next episode!Until then, please do all the good stuff for the show: rate, review, like, and subscribe. DumbEnoughPodcast@Gmail.Com or social media if you want to reach me.Most importantly, Stay Dumb!

Stock Market Investing with Ron Tank
Monday May 29, 2023
Monday May 29, 2023
Everyone wants to get rich in the stock market, but there's so much confusion and bad advice out there. It's not an easy thing to do right, but with my experts help today it might just be a whole lot simpler.
My guest today is Ron Tank. Ron has been a full time investor in the stock market for 28 years now. It hasn't all been sunshine and rainbows, he made his fair share of mistakes early on and paid the price. But about 20 years ago he figured out a simple system that has served him well, and now he's here to give some straight forward tips for those looking to invest in any stock or market. ( www.RonTank.Com )
Let's make Wall Street work for us!
I hope everybody got a lot out of this episode, regardless of your religious inclination. It feels like it's been a while since I've done a long, focused topic like this one. It also extends beyond the borders of any one country since there are 60 global stock exchanges, and the US is only one of those.
It's the last days of May and here's how the rankings turned out:1. The United States, with Texas, Oregon, and Kentucky as top states.2. Australia, with Victoria having three times the audience of New South Wales.3. Canada, with Ontario double that of British Columbia.4. The United Kingdom, just a half percent away from taking back the number two spot.5. Sweden, led once again by Skane.Stiff competition this month with Ghana almost breaking into the top 5! I can't wait to see how June turns out!
Anyway, that's it for today! Have a great week and I'll see you all back here for the next episode! Please do all the good stuff for the show: rate, review, like, and subscribe.
