Emergency Management. It sounds like it belongs alongside Emergency Medicine or Emergency Responder, but in truth it leans much more on the management part of it's name. Plus, in this episode you can find your path to becoming one of only a couple thousand in the world.

My guest today is Christine Van Horn. Christine is a Certified Emergency Manager (CEM) and has been for 30 years. It's a career that has allowed her to work in all levels of government and with various agencies on a wide array of events. She's here today to help clarify what the job is and what most don't understand about the career.
